Worth the Wait

Here's the picture of my BIL Rick with the quilt I made him for Christmas. He is a HUGE Steeler fan and was pleased. The Steelers fabric was tough to come by -I had to get it on EBAY - but the end result was worth it. The pattern is called BQ - from Maple Island Quilts by Debbie Bowles and is VERY easy to make - this version uses 12 1/2" squares of a focal fabric and the pattern has a 2nd version using 6 1/2" squares as well.

Rick is the last one in the family to get a quilt from me - sorry it took so long, but I hope you agree it was worth the wait...
