The babies are all gone and the pot now has flowers in it - just have not have had time to post recently. The babies were gone last Friday (4-14) the little buggers did not stay long for a visit once we realized they had hatched. It was alittle sad - but happy too because they made it ! Between our dog and fence replacement and lots of time Dottie was off the nest - we wondered if the eggs would even hatch.
But look what showed up the same day in our yard - this little fellow was quite a beautiful sight climbing on the tree in our back yard - we live in the middle of suburbia so anything unusual in nature is a pleasure to see. He ran up and down the tree as we tried to take pictures of him - flexing his bright pink neck - Hope he has friends around...

What a gorgeous lizard, do you think he's a native or an escapee? We have lots of squinks in our yard but they aren't nearly as brilliant, more dirt colored to hide in our semi desert land. That one is colored for a jungle with lots of foliage.
