My plans for my November Journal Quilt took a dramatic turn yesterday - I pulled a photo out of the newspaper last weekend and thought that would be my inspiration for the month. Don't worry - it will appear somewhere down the line I am sure - just not this month. Last month I had signed up for a thread painted landscapes class with Nancy Prince sponsored by Quilters Guild of Plano just because it really called to me. Nancy was the speaker at our guild on Thursday Night and the guild always sponsors workshops with the Speaker on Friday and Saturday after the meeting. Well the class project was a wonderful thread painted tree and I fittingly choose an autumn version. After class it is about 90% complete and coming along nicely. Look for a reveal soon!!
